Huawei a leading global information and communication technologies (ICT) provider has introduced the world’s thinnest smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas. Huawei Ascend P1 S measures 6.68 mm thick and has a Super AMOLED touchscreen 960 x 540 4.3-inch Corning Gorilla Glass display and the P1/P1 Ascend S has a powerful 8-megapixel camera BSI and a 1.3-megapixel HD front. Both have dual LED flash and optimization to achieve HDR effects. The Ascend P1 S is also the fastest and most compact smartphone in its class, with a dual core processor TI OMAP 4460-A9 Cortext 1.5 GHz and the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Prices and Availability:

The Huawei Ascend P1/P1 S will be available in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, Australia, Middle East and China from April 2012.
